Well, Outlook has addressed mini-workflow processes like that with one of their new features, Quick Steps. The little marketing blurb is below — as you can see it's a pretty flexible feature … and it's super easy to do.
I love it when the tool is smart enough to use the directory information to know who manages you and who you work with … I mean, duh, right? Use the info that's there, software — make my life easier! I say this with full confidence because the above screenshot is from my own computer.
Wrike is my personal Getting Things Done software of choice. Wrike, like Todoist, allows users to create folders and tasks. It also allows users to label their tasks, attach files, and schedule deadlines and recurrent tasks. Not convinced? If you are interested in products with comparable features, these Wrike alternatives could be what you are looking for. Free users get Evernote and Google Calendar integrations 30 notes and events a month, respectively.
If you are looking for software solutions with similar features, these Zendone alternatives are a great place to start. Finding the right Getting Things Done software can be a challenge.
All of these options allow users to do a weekly review, filter through their tasks by priority and due date, and establish the groundwork for contexts and next steps. Is there a solid free Getting Things Done software option that I missed? Have you had positive experiences with these? Let me know in the comments below!
